We had a nice time overall. The boats were in good shape and booking was super easy, which I appreciated. That said, it did feel a bit expensive for what we got. Not bad at all, just pricey, pricey for the overall value.

We had a small issue with our booking, and the support team got it sorted really quickly. They replied like actual people instead of just sending copy-paste answers, which made it feel a lot less stressful. It made planning the boat trip way easier.

"The base team made everything feel easy"
Check-in at the base was really smooth. The guys came across relaxed and helpful, and from their tone I kind of assumed they’d done this a hundred times, which made the boat briefing and sorting the lines feel easy. I had one small question later on, and they got it handled quickly without making it a big deal.

"Canceling took way more effort than expected"
I booked with moorings and then had to cancel because our plans changed. the cancellation process was more of a headache than I expected. It felt slow, the instructions weren’t super clear, and I had to keep following up just to figure out what was happening. One weird detail I still remember is sitting there on hold while this oddly upbeat music loop kept playing, which somehow made the whole thing more annoying. It did get sorted eventually, but it definitely left a bad impression. For what you’re paying, I expected much better communication.

"The yacht was in rough shape"
The yacht looked worn out and not at all like what I was expecting. For something that’s supposed to feel like a nice experience, it felt neglected. Make it make sense.

"Mostly smooth provisioning with a couple little hiccups"
Overall, I thought the provisioning was solid. Most of what we ordered was fresh and already waiting for us when we got onboard, which made the whole start of the trip feel much easier. A couple of items weren’t exactly what we had picked, and one piece of fruit was a bit too ripe for my taste, but nothing that really caused a problem. To me, it felt like a good service with just a few minor misses, and I’d be happy to use it again.

"Planning the itinerary was confusing"
I tried planning a trip through moorings.com and, the itinerary info was hard to figure out. Some of the stops looked really nice, but the details around timing, distances, and what’s actually realistic to do in a day weren’t very clear. I ended up having to email just to get answers to basic questions, and even after that I still didn’t feel totally confident. The site looks good overall, but when it came to actually planning the route, it didn’t help me much. For the price, I pretty much expected better.

Booked it quickly. No big hassle, really. The steps were simple, and I got through most of it without thinking too much. Only thing, the payment page. It could’ve been a little clearer. I paused there for a second, just making sure everything was right. Other than that, straightforward.

"We had a few issues pop up..."
We had a few issues pop up on our boat, and maintenance did eventually come out to take care of them. It took longer than we were expecting, which was frustrating, but the guy who showed up was nice and managed to fix most of what we needed. My main complaint is the reminders were kind of aggressive, like we kept getting pushed and nudged even though we were already waiting on updates. Overall, not a terrible experience, just wish the communication was smoother and less annoying.
"Apparently Asking for Help Was Too Much"
The crew on our flight made it feel like we were inconveniencing them just by being there. Boarding was already stressful, and when we needed a little help, they were rude and barely made an effort. Not exactly the warm, welcoming experience they probably advertise.
